MICHELLE Henry, 29, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday on a charge for malicious damage to property.

She pleaded not guilty to the January 3 offence, particulars of which said, she unlawfully damaged one car windscreen and bonnet valued $50,000, property of Fitzroy Holligan.

Henry was put on $20,000 bail until January 12.

The virtual complainant told the Court the defendant is the mother of his children who did the damage with a bottle when he went to visit them.

However, Henry claimed Holligan physically abused her after taking the Police to search her home, on the false allegation that she was in possession of illegal drugs.
