Man accused of brandishing sword at Croal St placed on $10,000 bail

TWENTY-SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Lester Caldera of North Sophia, Georgetown appeared yesterday before City Magistrate Ann McLennan, charged with having a sword in his possession on December 9 at Croal Street Georgetown.

Represented by Attorney-at-Law Paul Fung-A-Fat, Caldera pleaded not guilty to the charge, and his attorney requested reasonable bail for his client. The prosecutor did not object to the granting of bail, which was subsequently set at $10,000, and the case was set for recall on December 17, in Court 11.
