POLICE are investigating the circumstances under which four students of the Paramakatoi Primary and Secondary Schools went missing since January 3, 2020.
The students, who are all related, are from the village of Paramakatoi, North Pakaraimas, Region Eight. They were identified as Stephen Peters, 16; Carlos Peters, 12; Delon Peters, 10, and Patrick Peters, 12.

Reports indicate that the children left Paramakatoi village to reach their parents at Tiperu backdam, North Pakaraimas, which is approximately two and a half days walking.
However, their parents, Selvin Peters, Marciana Peters, Raulston Peters and Stacy Peters arrived at Tiperu village but the children did not show up.

Checks were made by the parents on the trail but they were unsuccessful in finding the boys. A missing persons’ report was filed at the police station on January 10. Police are investigating the incident.
