AS the Lucky Dollar chain of stores celebrates its eleventh Anniversary with weekly deals, the furniture and appliances store is encouraging the public to take advantage of their exciting offers.

During the month of July, customers can save up to $30,000 on Smart Televisions, Dining sets and Entertainment centres; over $20,000 on Beds and Living Room sets, among other items.

Pamela Humphrey, Manager of the Lucky Dollar chain of stores, stated that the 11 years have been a successful journey for the company and so Lucky Dollar saw it fitting to give back to Guyanese through deals, providing sponsorships and donations.

“Lucky dollar is a community store, because of our customers we are alive, so we recognise those we have shopping with us; we are doing so well and we are grateful. There are also persons in our community that needs the help and the support to do better and that’s why we are giving back to our community in some small way,” Humphrey explained.

She added that all products of Lucky Dollar are new and have a warranty attached to them.

Up until Saturday, July 21, 2019, customers will be given 15 per cent off hire- purchase contracts, 12 months and over; and five per cent off cash purchases. Clients are also being offered 90 days full payment to get the item purchased at its cash price. Offers are valid while stocks last; however, the promotion ends July 31, 2019.

To become a Lucky Dollar customer, all that is needed is a National ID or passport, proof of address (last utility bill), proof of income and a job letter.

On Thursday, Lucky Dollar, a sister company to Courts, Guyana, also handed over four smart televisions to winners of its June-promotion titled “Shop 49,999 and over and get a chance to win one 40-inch Smart TLC television.” The winners were Zaman Ramdeo, Seerana Bownawuth, Shanta Seebaran and Savitri Panchan.

In addition, Lucky Dollar also donated a refrigerator to the Soup Kitchen on the West Bank of Demerara, which feeds over 220 under-privileged children on a daily basis.
