Another young lawyer admitted to local Bar

YET another legal luminary has been admitted to the local Bar as an attorney-at-law. This time it is 37-year-old Ravindra Mohabir of Da Silva Street, Newtown, who was admitted on October 13, 2017.

His petition was presented by Senior Counsel, Mr. Vidyanand Persaud before the Honourable Justice Sandil Kissoon.
The new Attorney-at-Law extended sincere gratitude to his parents; his only sister, Kristy; his wife Sharmila, his two daughters, Raveena and Elizabeth; and to the Bishop family, especially the late Chancellor Aubrey Bishop, for their invaluable support and encouragement throughout his academic journey.
The attorney also expressed special thanks to Senior Counsel Bernard De Santos with whom he did his in-service training, and to the management and staff of the Institute of Private Enterprise Development Development (IPED), especially its Chairman, Dr. Yesu Persaud and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ramesh Persaud.
He also gave praise and thanks to his “Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for His grace and favour” throughout his academic journey.
