Two representing Guyana at International Quranic Competition

ABDUL Mu’izz Mohamed and Abdul Mu’min Mohamed are representing Guyana at the eighth International Quranic Competition for memorisation, recitation and interpretation in Kuwait.
The competition began on April 12 and will end on April 18, 2017. Both of the participants have completed the memorisation of the Holy Quran and are students of the Al Madina Islamic Academy, Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast.
This competition is hosted by His Royal Highness, The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs of Kuwait.
Abdul Mu’izz Mohamed and Abdul Mu’min Mohamed were selected and recommended by the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) to represent Guyana at the competition.
