THE International Language Institute, located at 105 New Garden Street, Queenstown, Georgetown, will be inaugurated on December 5, 2014.
English classes will thereafter be made available for Brazilian children and Portuguese classes will be made available for Guyanese children. English and Spanish will be taught to those interested in learning them as second languages, and there will also be adult courses as well.
Less fortunate children will also have the opportunity to study at the Institute, and the body aims to make learning a ‘fun thing’.
After classes, students can play table tennis or enjoy natural local fruit juices; and the males will get a free hair cut on Saturdays, among other treats.
