DIGICEL Guyana opened its sixth flagship store on March 4, 2012 — at Lot 212 Old Road, Parika, East Bank Essequibo — boosting availability of all touch screen cell phones and interactive services for its customers. The doors of the mobile service outlet have been re-opened after the building had undergone extensive renovation, and now state-of-the-art service facilitating easy purchase of handsets is available. A critical addition to the store is the fun interactive screens which, when prompted by touch, will outline the features of various mobile phones, their prices, and other useful details.

Digicel’s Public Relations Manager, Shonnet Moore, said the opening of the store was one way of enhancing Digicel’s services to its valued customers, and that the improved services are also featured at stores on Avenue of the Republic, City Mall, and Linden. She said this is done with the aim of enhancing Digicel’s services.
