Explore Guyana a perfect reading for potential visitors

I encourage those with the marketing interest of Guyana to get hold of a copy of the 2009 Explore Guyana Magazine and mail a copy to one friend (non-Guyanese) as a 2010 reading gift.

It’s finally here not in abundance at the moment and again I extend my gratitude to the sponsors/advertisers for their continuous commitment towards this annual venture.

Once again, I am suggesting to persons and agencies with the resources and network connections overseas to make an effort and try selling Guyana to the Producer of the CBS adventure show of “The Amazing Race.”

Just imagine “The El Dorado” being showcased with a different image globally during an episode.

If I had to make a choice for the cover, I would have definitely substitute the ‘Turtle’ photo image with the “Harpy Eagle” as seen on page 77.

Well done to the photographer of the image photo shoot of the Harpy Eagle.

The respective persons responsible for the concept and graphic design of ads need acknowledgement for their input and my personal choice for the outstanding and effective ads are ‘Hotel Tower” (page 37) and ‘King’s Jewellery World” (page 3).

I understand that GEMS also has their mini tourism book on the market, but unfortunately I can’t make a commentary because I don’t have one on hand. Nevertheless, I am certain that the mini handbook would also make perfect reading to overseas potential visitors.
