TWO men appeared in the High Court in Demerara and pleaded guilty to the June 2021 murder of taxi driver, 53-year-old Kenrick Trim of Belfield Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Seyon James, also known as “Lil Alfey,” and Kenty Bacchus, called “Trini,” faced Chief Justice (ag) Navindra Singh in relation to the killing, which occurred during the course of a robbery.
The state’s case is being led by Prosecutor attorney Geneva Wills, with support from Attorneys Christopher Belfield and Simran Gajraj, while Bacchus is represented by Attorney-at-Law Audreanna Stephens. James’ lawyer is Glendon Greenidge.

According to the statement of agreed facts presented in court, Bacchus and James joined Trim in his taxi, registration #HC5311, on the morning of June 30, 2021, outside Beacon Café on Carmichael Street, Georgetown.
