Sabeeta Pulomine, called Geeta, 32, and Deborah Strick, 48, initially pleaded not guilty to the charge of abusive language and were placed on $15,000 and $10,000 bail respectively, while Neshera Holder, 28, admitted to the charge, but subsequently disagreed with the facts narrated by Police Prosecutor Corporal, Orin Joseph.
The prosecutor told the court that on August 13 last Pulomine was talking to Strick about a papaw tree when Holder who was within earshot began to hurl a series of expletives.
But Holder denied using expletives and told the court that, “I just used one expletive after I had asked Geeta what was going on between she and my aunt.”
Holder then informed the court that she wanted to change her plea as she and the other two defendants did not wish to proceed with the matter.
The women were instructed to give sworn testimony indicating that they did not wish to offer evidence and then the case was dismissed.
