Guyana’s opposition and international fraudsters

THE two opposition parties in the National Assembly have called for a review of the multi-million-dollar Amaila Falls hydro project, amidst concerns expressed last week by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over the project’s economic viability. PNC’s Joe Harmon said: “We have no objection in principle to the project. What we are concerned about is what will be the cost per kilowatt.”
The only thing the PNC and Harmon are really concerned with is if this major project goes through will Lindeners get a reduction from the five dollars per KWH they now enjoy, while all other Guyanese must pay through their noses – something Harmon and the PNC do not care about.
If the PNC and Harmon were really concerned about any environment they should not go in the interior for that, they ought to take a look at the stench in Georgetown and those who run this town.
This other member of the PNC masquerading as AFC, Khemraj Ramjattan, said this:
“The IMF is a respected organisation of 188 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation; secure financial stability; facilitate international trade; promote high employment and sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty around the world.”
If those who voted against the PPP/C are reading this, then they know what a stupid man they cast their votes for.
They must ask Ramjattan why it is called by the people in the streets of all countries “the international mafia fraudsters” (IMF).
Why the IMF interest in Guyana and this project now?
Most people know these international mafia fraudsters loan countries loads of money that cannot be repaid, then move into those countries to dictate on how it must run its affairs.
The said PNC took Guyana and Guyanese down that road already, and it could not repay a whopping US$2.1 billion debt.
It was the very PPP/C from 92 to present that begged and borrowed and worked so hard with Guyanese to pay off that PNC debt.
Guyanese will soon know how the PNC opposition are trying their very best to make this country ungovernable.
