Child Care clerk found with marijuana

A CLERK at the Child Care and Protection Agency (CCPA) has found herself in some ‘hot water’ after an estimated 8 pounds of marijuana was found in her possession.
Reports are that the find occurred on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, this newspaper was informed that supervisors at the CCPA became curious that something was amiss after the scent of the illicit substance permeated the office.
An employee then found the substance and placed it in another room and reports are that the clerk went around asking for the bag and claimed ownership. The matter was referred to the Ministry of Social Protection’s office on Lamaha Street. It is unclear if the police were called in.
