I am as real as guava jelly

Mr. GOSSAI is right when he said I should not feel reluctant to reply to letters, but should do so faithfully. I stand corrected. The ‘why bother’ attitude stems from the fact that responding to letters that lack cohesiveness and intellectual substance may not seem worthwhile. That is why I feel reluctant to respond to Mr. Gossai’s letter once again. He continues to press the issue of my credentials which is quite amazing. Quite frankly, I do not blame him. If I was out debated by someone who claimed to be a pastor, I would want to know if I lost fair and square or is it some big conspiracy—that the boogie man is out to get me.

The matter at hand is the question I raised about matter and ant-matter. Mr. Gossai has side-stepped the matter completely which is what really matters. He had said that a high-energy explosion would cause matter and anti-matter to disintegrate (the big-bang). But he is refusing to answer the question of why then is our universe made up of a surplus of matter and why is there still miniscule amounts of anti-matter in our atmosphere. Maybe a simple answer of “I don’t know” would be all that would matter instead of going to great lengths to raise the question of my existence.

Mr. Gossai’s refusal to follow protocol to disclose his identity is a troubling matter. He called protocol a game. If it is a game in his mind, then I would say to him not to hate the player, but hate the game. Following the rules of protocol should matter. If the matter of principle does not matter, then what do we really have—a total disregard of principles? As I reminisce on how I proved to Mr. Gossai in a matter of fact way about the flaws of his scientific arguments, another question arose— “Did the issue of my identity evolve or mutate?” I can assure Mr. Gossai that I am as real as guava jelly. But does it really matter?
