Trophy Stall on board for May 1 horse race meet

TROPHY Stall came to the aid of sport again when it made a timely donation of trophies to the organisers of the Jumbo Jet Auto Sales and Racing on Wednesday.The Labour Day (May 1) horse race meet is being organised by the Jumbo Jet Auto Sales and Racing Stables, in collaboration with the Bush Lot United Turf Club.
Over 55 horses have so far been entered for the event which has over $4M in cash, trophies and other incentives up for grabs.
Six races are carded for the day with the feature event set for horses classified D and Lower. The winning horse owner will take home $800 000 for the one-mile event.
So far, Princess She Not, Plum Plum, Climate Change, Red and Lovely and California Strike have been entered for this race.
Other races listed for the day include a 1400-metre event for three-year-old West Indies-bred horses as well as Guyana-bred horses. The winning prize is $350 000 and a trophy.
The G1’ and Lower 1200-metre race will see the winner take home $350 000 and a trophy as well.
A 1400-metre race is also on the cards for horses classified H3 and Lower and the winner will pocket $250 000 and a trophy.
Animals classified K and Lower will do battle over 1200 metres and the winner will earn $200 000 and a trophy.
The final event will be for horses classified I and Lower over 1000 metres for a winning purse of $150 000 and a trophy.
Prior to presenting the trophies to the race organisers, wife of the proprietor of Trophy Stall, Devi Sunich, said Trophy Stall is very proud to be associated with the meeting and pledged continued support to the organisers.
