POLICE ranks acting on information conducted an operation on Tuesday afternoon at Romulus and Brutus Streets, Agricola, where juveniles were cautioned after toy items resembling firearms were found at the location.
According to the Guyana Police Force, the operation was carried out around 14:10hrs. During checks on a group of juveniles seated at a nearby stand, ranks observed several toy items resembling firearms placed on a table.
The juveniles were cautioned and advised against portraying or using toy items in a manner that could be interpreted as criminal or threatening, police said.
No arrests were made and no illegal items were recovered.
