AGRICULTURE Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, along with the newly appointed Minister within the Ministry of Agriculture, Vikash Ramkissoon, held a meeting on Tuesday with several Heads of Departments to review ongoing projects under the Ministry’s purview. The session was also attended by Ms. Daun Ellis, recently-appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture.
During the engagement, Minister Mustapha stressed the importance of ensuring that all projects aimed at advancing the agriculture sector are executed on schedule and in strict compliance with contractual specifications. He highlighted that the timely and effective delivery of these initiatives was vital to achieving the government’s broader developmental objectives for the sector.
The meeting signals the Ministry’s continued commitment to strengthening oversight and accountability in the implementation of projects that support Guyana’s agricultural growth.
