The Commissioner, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration), Ravindradat Budhram, held a muster with officers from Police Headquarters at the Tactical Services Unit, Drill Square, Eve Leary.

Addressing the gathering, Commissioner Hicken cautioned that there would be consequences for any officer who acts outside of the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Force policies. He stressed that professionalism, neutrality, and preparedness must guide the conduct of all ranks in the discharge of their duties.
Looking ahead, the Top Cop announced that newly promoted ranks will soon undergo specialised training at the Police Academy. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded certificates to strengthen their qualifications and readiness.

Commissioner Hicken also took the opportunity to commend the officers for their dedication and service, while charging them to always uphold the integrity of the Force, especially in their interactions with the public.
