SAINT Stanislaus College, Saint Roses & Saint Joseph High recorded wins over the weekend at the National Gymnasium in Cheddi Jagan Memorial boys Schools Windball Championship.
In the first clash Saint Roses made 105-3, with Narindra Isurdeen 54 and Joshua Sharma 38.
Tucville Secondary in reply were restricted to 59-2 with Mark July 25 and Wesley Cox 16 leading with the bat.
In another fixture, Houston Secondary in their debut outing reached 55-2 after being put into bat; Nicholas Archer hit 5 sixes for his 30 not out.
Saint Stanislaus College in response reached the target in 2 overs.
Saint Joseph High then made a 100-4 when they took on Kingston thanks to Savir Narine who had the highest score of 37.
Prem Budram picked up 2-11 bowling for Kingston Secondary who were restricted to 89 without loss, Joshua Pompey made 42 in a losing effort.
Saint Stanislaus College then returned to whip Cummings Lodge Secondary.
Saints had an opening partnership of 122, Ishon Haricharran made 65 and Nitin Bhogwandat 56 before limiting Cummings Lodge Secondary to 72-1 for the win.
The lone match in the Janet Jagan Memorial school girls’ competition saw Saint Roses High beat Cummings Lodge Secondary.
