JOSEPH Jackman, a 35-year-old landscaper from Stevedore Housing Scheme, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was arrested on September 28, 2024, by officers from the East La Penitence Police Station’s Criminal Investigations Department.
Jackman faces charges of ‘Attempt to Commit Murder’ under section 103(c) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01, related to an incident involving Rundell Dowding.
On October 1, 2024, Jackman appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at Georgetown Magistrates’ Court #5, where the charge was formally read. He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence.
