MAGISTRATE Esther Sam, on Friday, sentenced Charles Abrams to two years in prison for drug trafficking when he appeared before her at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.
Abrams was found guilty as charged on Friday after a trial in which he was accused of trafficking a narcotic, to wit, 294 grams of cannabis sativa.

Magistrate Sam not only gave the convict a sentence but also a $264,300 fine.
In a different case, Mitzroy Dash was fined $2,160,000 and imprisoned for three years for trafficking 2.4 kilograms of marijuana.
Magistrate Sam found him guilty of drug trafficking on Friday as well.
