OTTO Pitman called ‘One Dan’ and Oliver Franklyn were on Monday charged with the alleged murder of Natram Persaud which occurred at Canal #2 Polder, West Bank Demerara on December 31, 2023.

Pitman, a 35-year-old of Lot 50 School Street, Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara, and Franklyn, a 49-year-old taxi driver of Lot 276 Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court.

They were not required to plead to the charge and were remanded to prison until February 7, 2024.
