Archery Guyana to be represented at Panamerican Archery Championships

ARCHERY Guyana has been growing and expanding throughout Guyana, with the aim of putting Guyana on the map through the sport of archery since it is an Olympic sport.

The Secretary-General, Mrs Vidushi Persaud-McKinnon, just shared some very exciting news with the local media. Two of their members, namely Wayne DeAbreu and Devin Persaud Permaul who will be participating in the XXVI Pan American and V Para-Panamerican Archery Championships, to be held in Santiago, Chile on November 21-27, 2022.

This tournament is a World Ranking Event and will be the main Qualifier Tournament for the SANTIAGO 2023 Panamerican and Parapanamerican Games. The tournament will be held at the Bernardo O´Higgins National Military Academy in Las Condes County in their capital city, Santiago.

Mrs Persaud McKinnon expressed thanks to the Hon. Minister of Sport, Minister Charles Ramson, and the National Sports Commission (NSC).
