–with donation from United Contracting

IN keeping with their corporate social responsibility (CSR), United Contracting, on Tuesday, made a significant donation to the Lima Sands nursery and primary schools.
Owner of the company, Safraz Ali, said that he is currently conducting works on phase two of the Lima Sands Road and was asked by the headmistress of the school to assist.

He said he immediately decided to make the donation which went towards the painting and decorating of the building for the recent Independence Anniversary celebrations Region Two.
The contractor also made provisions for children to have meals and for furniture to be transported to the primary school.

“We take pride in giving back to the community in which we operate… this is not the first time we distributed items… we distributed kites during Easter and also shared food hampers to the less fortunate… we are delighted to give back to society,” Ali said.

The donation was presented to the school by the contractor and his wife Shaheeria Ali.
Headmistress of Lima Sands Primary, Debra Richard, expressed appreciation to the contractor for the monetary donation.
