THE cricket fraternity has just been hit by the sad news of the unfortunate demise of Waynumattie Permaul, called ‘Dataley, the mother of well-known National and West Indies cricketer, Veersammy Permaul.

Consequently, the president and executive members of the Guyana Cricket Board wish to express sincere condolences to Veerasammy Permaul and his family at her passing. “We trust that you gather strength and fortitude to withstand the pains and sorrow associated with this tragedy.”
