DEVON Nurse, a clothes vendor, on Monday, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, charged with armed robbery and was remanded to prison.
He denied the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus.
It is alleged that Nurse, while being armed with a gun, on June 14, 2021, at Hibiscus Street, Georgetown, robbed Ryan McIntyre of two cellphones, gold jewellery and cash, amounting to $425,000.
The magistrate upheld the prosecutor’s objection to bail being granted and remanded him to prison until March 28, 2022.
