FORMER Bishops’ High School teacher, Coen Jackson, on Wednesday, pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a minor by abusing a position of trust, when his trial commenced at the Sexual Offences Court of the High Court.
The matter is being heard by Justice Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and a 12-member jury. Due to its sensitive nature, the trial is being heard in-camera.
Jackson is being represented by attorneys-at-law, Nigel Hughes and Jerome Khan. Prosecutors Muntaz Ali, Nafeeza Baig and Latifah Elliot are on record for the state.
