THE Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) U-15 cricket clinic/drills and trial matches are scheduled to bowl off today from 15:00hrs at the Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) ground.
Technical Director Mark Harper and several coaches, including former West Indies Test batsman, Travis Dowlin, along with Jermaine Neblette, Kervin Ross, Jeremiah Harris, Qusen Nedd and Neil Barry Jr., will conduct the course.
Some 39 players have been placed into two groups. Group A includes 20 players and they are scheduled to participate this afternoon and Wednesday, while Group B includes 19 players who are expected to be at the venue tomorrow and Thursday.
According to information from Chairman of the GCA Competitions Committee, Shaun Massiah, strict covid-19 measures will be in place.

“A rapid test for all players will be done then we will counsel them during the sessions on the importance of the vaccine if they are to move forward from the group.”
All players will also be required to walk with a photocopy of their birth certificate, vaccination card, face mask, sanitiser, white top, track pants, booths, socks and water bottle. They are also required to put their names on their cricket equipment.
Group A players include Joshua Charles, Kishan Silas, Arun Gainda, Thierry Moore, Jonathan Mentor, Narinda Isurdeen, Amir Samad, Aaron kissoon, Rishi Seodat, Daniel Kissoon, Jason Wahid, Adrian Kissoon, Sameer Bhola, Shawn Thompson, Torrel Assaye, Peter Khan, Randel Manoharlall, Nicholas Nieuelder, Anthony Isreal and Shemarion Gomes.
The Group B players are Joshua Narine, Emanuel Lewis, Reyaz Latif, Dave Mohabir, Dhanish Persaud, Ravin Singh, Kwesi Wilkinson, Mickel Sharma, Anthonio Chan, Nicholas Sulker, Hezekiah Hohenkirk, Alex Gonsalves, Darwin La Rose, Nicholas Archer, Jermaine Fyffe, Ryan Khan, Omarion Allen, Kerron Toppin and Trilok Nanan.
