VICKASH Kevin Fredericks, 19, of New Road, Region Two, tragically lost his life on Boxing Day. He was struck down by a car around 19:00hrs on New Road, while making his way home on a motorcycle.

According to reports, neighbours heard the loud impact of the crash and rushed to the scene. They picked up Fredericks in an unconscious state and took him to the Charity Oscar Joseph Hospital.

“When we saw he was in a pool of blood, we just assisted him and then rush he to the hospital,” an eyewitness said.

Fredericks was later transferred to the Suddie Public Hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.

His body is at the Suddie Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem. Friends described him as a good person. The driver of the car is currently in police custody.
