‘EXPO 50’ was swesome

EXPO 50 was nothing short of an awesome experience for 50 emerging entrepreneurs and small businesses. Thank you to Gifland Mall, Urban Life, Nelson Nurse, Gobin’s Variety, Maria Benchop, media houses and any who supported. This exposition has re-ignited my passion for entrepreneurial journeys and these are some of the reasons I feel this way.

“I would have taken away that great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of persons. With that being said, we  have all worked together to plan, manage and  execute our objectives for Expo 50. We’ve provided an entrepreneur-friendly, supportive and positive environment for each other. Our team would always receive very positive reviews, words of encouragement, feedback, and even daily motivation from  Ms.Sonia Noel. Our ability to communicate effectively was what made us such an excellent team.
I must commend you, Ms.Noel, for always thinking about others and not being selfish. Many small business owners have an online business with not that much of exposure. By having the opportunity to be a part of your great initiative (Expo 50), us  young entrepreneurs were very grateful and appreciative because no one has done this for us. Also, there were different media houses interviewing each participant and that was exceptional and highly appreciated. You’re the reason that 50 small and emerging businesses were able to have the exposure of having their business seen and heard about across the ten Administrative Regions of Guyana.  It was definitely two days that I’ll remember for a lifetime and would happily relive.
You’ve set the bar as a leader, mentor, mother, and friend to not only the entrepreneurs but to Guyana as a country.” Ms. Lowenfield.

“My experience with the Sonia Noel 50th Expo was enriching in several ways. The stories shared and tips given on how to build your business were priceless. Through sharing, I was made aware of some of the pitfalls to avoid and reminded to constantly push through the disappointments, discouragement etc. To know that I was not alone and some of the issues were not isolated to me was comforting. The zeal, conviction, and energy expressed by other young entrepreneurs were tremendous and proved to be just what I needed. As the scripture goes ‘iron sharpeneth iron so does the countenance of a man his friend’. But the most significant part of my experience came when I got the chance to showcase my product/service. The response was overwhelming. The expo allowed me the chance to sample the market or general populace. Info that will be used to build and further enhance the services I am looking to provide. Thank you guys for the opportunity to showcase and garner priceless knowledge.” Ms. Brazh

“To be or not to be? It would be to relive the experience all over again! A miraculous decision by Ms Sonia Noel the legendary fashion Icon, philanthropist, and author. Who prepared the table for young entrepreneurs in Guyana on her 50th birthday, commemorating by highlighting the talent of the present and future. A woman, in my opinion, who understands the hardships of upcoming entrepreneurs in the land of many waters. A selfless decision to invest in the youth by giving us a platform for expansion, networking and major development with various programmes to strengthen areas where one may be weak in. I, for one, will forever express gratitude for her choosing to aid us in these perilous times, for when the world may seem to be falling apart there’s always that ray of sunshine at the end of a dark tunnel leading you to where ever you place your mind to be. As for golfing, it always tweaked my interest, and it’s something I wouldn’t mind adding to my skill set. Once again, thank you for choosing to bless us on your 50hth birthday, Ms Noel, forever grateful.”- Ej Digital Marketer SeaMossExpress
