THE abrupt death of 15-month-old Sahara LaCruz of Cabora Village, Moruca, North West District Region One, on Tuesday, has prompted a police investigation.
Reports indicate that on Tuesday, around 15:15 hours, the mother was awakened by her daughter’s cries, and as such, she attempted to breastfeed the child.
However, the infant refused. Subsequently, the mother said her daughter began to tremble. When she finally stopped, the child was motionless. The police were immediately called in and they are awaiting the results of an autopsy report.
