BRITISH actress Isabelle Kaif, sister of well-known actress Katrina Kaif, is making her Bollywood debut with ‘Time to Dance’ opposite Hero’s Sooraj Pancholi.
Kaif, 30, is portraying a ballroom Latin dancer, alongside Pancholi, also 30, who will be in the role of a street dancer.
The dance film is directed by Stanley D’Costa, produced by Bhushan Kumar and also stars Waluscha De Sousa, Saqib Saleem, Rajpal Yadav, and Sammy John Heaney. It is scheduled for a March 12 release.

The trailer released last Thursday showing Kaif’s passion for dancing as she finds love in the process. Being on top of her game, an accident caused her to lose everything. Just when she thought she would have to abandon her dreams, Pancholi steps in to be her partner and help her get back in the groove.
Bollywood has seen its fair share of dance genre movies, as latest as last year when Street Dancer 3D was released. Directed by Remo D’Souza, it was also produced by Bhushan Kumar, along with Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza under the banners T-Series and Remo D’Souza Entertainment.

Street Dancer starred Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Deva and Nora Fatehi in title roles, and marked Fatehi’s first in a title role. The story explored a dance competition between Indian and Pakistani dancers. Meanwhile, Pancholi is making a come-back with Time to Dance following his Hero movie debut IN 2015 opposite Suniel Shetty’s daughter, Athiya Shetty, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best New Newcomer.
Hero is an Indian Hindi-language romantic action film directed by Nikkhil Advani and co-written by Umesh Bist, a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 blockbuster film of the same name, which stars Jackie Shroff.

Pancholi’s parents, Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi, are also actors. Pancholi’s career appeared to have been stalled, especially with the baggage he has hanging over his head with the death of his girlfriend Jiah Khan who died by suicide. A note she left had sighted relationship problems between her and Pancholi.
Pancholi was subsequently arrested and formally charged with abetting the suicide.
