BANKS DIH Limited has handed over a quantity of furniture to Regional Division (Three) of the Guyana Police Force during a simple ceremony at the Leonora Police Station on Thursday. According to a release, George McDonald, Co-Managing Director/Marketing Director of Banks DIH Limited made the presentation of chairs and tables to Regional Commander, Senior Superintendent Errol Watts, at the recently rehabilitated Christopher Griffith Recreational Hall located in the compound of the Leonora Station, the regional headquarters.

McDonald said he was extremely pleased to make the presentation as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility. “This donation is indicative of our support of the work being done to these facilities,” he added. Senior Superintendent Watts praised Banks DIH for its contribution to the facility, which serves as a training and recreational hall. “Banks DIH has always been a good corporate citizen, so on behalf of the commissioner and ranks of the Force, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the company,” he said. Also in attendance were executives of the company, officers of the Force and members of the Station’s Welfare Committee.
