COMFORT Sleep, local manufacturer of foam and spring-filled mattresses, on Tuesday, in full compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, launched the latest in its line of products.
Appropriately tagged “Comfort-pedic Memory Foam Mattresses”, the new line comes in Standard, King and Queen sizes, and boasts of being the first of its kind on the Guyanese market, providing users “with a built-in touch of elegance and absolute comfort, as it is manufactured to adjust to the shape/form of the body while resting.”
Managing Director, Mr. Dennis Charran, who is also the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, said during the launch that he cannot help but be ecstatic about the company’s evolution over the years, and that particularly after the fire in 2013, which almost put them out of business, Comfort Sleep has been growing from strength to strength, while working on improving their products as a means of providing customers with the absolute best in foam and spring mattresses.
Reportedly new to the Guyanese market, ‘Comfort Pedic Memory Foam Mattresses’ are reputedly made of a high-quality, 1.5 high-density foam, topped with four inches of memory foam, and are expected to be durable, soft and comfortable.
Also on display during the launch was an adjustable bed manufactured locally by Comfort Sleep.
According to Charran, in its more than 25 years in business, Comfort Sleep has become a household name throughout Guyana and the Caribbean, to the extent that it has won two international awards, one in Geneva, Switzerland and the other in the US.
The company is also noted for giving back to the less fortunate, through School Feeding Programmes, and regular contributions to the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre and the Ruimveldt Children’s Home.
