A 37-year-old vendor, on Monday, appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus on two firearm-related charges.
Joel Porte, of BB Eccles, East Bank Demerara, pleaded not guilty to having an unlicensed firearm and several live rounds in his possession. He was granted $50,000 bail for each offence.
