VICE-PRESIDENT, Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, has said the PPP/C Government has no intention of withdrawing the $35.2M Lexus vehicle issued by the State that is being used by former President, David Granger.
The Vice-President noted that the government has accorded and intends to accord to Mr. Granger the respect befitting of a former President but reminded that the APNU+AFC Government never treated former presidents with similar respect.
Dr. Jagdeo’s reference to the vehicle being used by Mr. Granger was made against the backdrop of Opposition Leader, Joseph Harmon’s, criticism of the government’s budgetary allocation for the purchase of vehicles.
