RUPUNUNI residents, on Wednesday, caught one of two bandits after they had robbed a woman of her motorcycle, police have reported.
According to the police, one of two armed men who allegedly robbed a female domestic worker of her motorcycle about 17:45hrs on Wednesday, on the Aranaputa Public Road, North Rupununi, was apprehended by police and public spirited citizens. The motorcycle was recovered and a firearm, suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime, was found. Stringent efforts are being made to apprehend the other suspect.
