…one fell off while trying to rob city victim, accomplice escapes

POLICE on Saturday said that one of two bandits, who have been riding around the city robbing citizens, was, on Friday evening, captured after he and his accomplice tried to rob someone but fell off their motorcycle.

In a release, police said following a robbery-under-arms committed on an Albouystown resident on June 22 last, which was captured on CCTV and circulated on social media platform—Facebook– the alleged gunman is presently under guard at the GPHC.

Information received relates that the suspects, on Friday evening, attempted the same stunt as seen in the video, but fell off their motorcycle in the process and injured themselves. The guarded suspect is a 22-year-old resident of East Ruimveldt, Georgetown and his accomplice, who was reportedly whisked away from the scene, is currently being pursued by investigators.
