FIRST Lady Mrs. Sandra Granger and Minister of State Mrs. Dawn Hastings-Williams on Christmas morning visited the Maternity Ward of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where they gifted each mother with a package of supplies for their new-born baby and interacted with them.

At the time of the visit, there were five babies born on Christmas Day itself, and 18 on Christmas Eve. Ms. Sarah Beekharry gave birth to the first Christmas Day baby at 12:38hrs. She said that she was very happy and thankful to have been paid a visit by the First Lady and the Minister of State and received a token from both ladies. “It means a lot,” she said.
