RECRUITS of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) were given a break from their arduous training and treated to an enticing meal and other goodies, by the hierarchy of the force, at the Annual Trainees’ Christmas Luncheon on Friday.

The luncheon was held at the Police Officers’ Mess Annex, Eve Leary. Present at the luncheon were senior officers of the force, along with branch commanders.

A toast was also made to President David Granger as the Christmas season unfolds.
The luncheon also served as a platform for future policemen/policewomen to showcase their talents in group dances, poems, songs, and skits.
