“We are not giving up. We are looking forward to a good day. We checked the weather forecast and it is promised by nature that we will have a good day,” she added.

According to Muss, eight races are carded for today with three Pro Races, three Novices races and one race each for Rookies and Open.

“We would like to thank Region 10 Regional Democratic Council, NICIL for the venue, Town Clerk and Linden Mayor and Town Council, Guyana Police Force and the Linden Hospital Complex,” Muss said.

Admission to the family-oriented event is $1 000 and it begins at 10:00hrs.
