FOUR more companies have confirmed their support for the upcoming 1320 Heat Rematch.
Those companies are Miracle Optical, Motor Trend Service Centre, Trans Pacific Auto Sales and Spares and official betting partner of the GMR≻ IBet Supreme.
Dubbed ‘1320 Heat Rematch’, the local competitors will be revving to end the season on a high while no less than five cars from Suriname have been confirmed to participate in the event.
In a release yesterday, the club expressed gratitude for the support given and explained that running off a motor racing event is very costly so every dollar earned is appreciated.
The correspondence further noted that, “These companies have long been supporters of motorsport in Guyana and although IBet Supreme partnership with the club is new, we look forward to continued cooperation for years to come.”
The release further explained that, “The GMR&SC is constantly looking to upgrade the South Dakota Circuit. This year, the club completed its target of constructing a Launch Pad and extending the strip to a full quarter-mile. Both those objectives were reached due to the generous contributions of sponsors, support by the fans and very importantly the competitors.”
Admission stands at $1 000 for adults and $500 for children this Sunday.
Sunday’s fourth and final round of the 2019 Drag Race championship will start at 10:00hrs.
