GUYANESE companies have been invited to the IV Investment Forum that will be held on November 6 and 7 at the EXPOCUBA Convention Hall and Executive Lounge.
The forum will be held within the framework of the 37th edition of the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV 2019), Cuba.
President of the Region Three Chamber of Commerce, Haleem Khan, said the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX), in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba and ProCuba will be hosting the event.
Khan said the new Foreign Investment Opportunities Portfolio 2019-2020 will be launched in the context of the forum.
He explained that the forum is addressed to foreign entrepreneurs who wish to attend and registration for the IV Investment Forum will be open until November 1, on the official website of Fihav (http://feriahabana.mincex.gob.cu).
He noted that entrepreneurs can make their appointments for free.
“These online platforms also provide information such as the advantages of investing in Cuba, the legal framework for this activity and the foreign investment policy, among other data. Panels and presentations on topics of interest will be developed at the meeting,” Khan said.
The President of the Region Three Chamber of Commerce explained that the event will be an excellent opportunity to hold bilateral meetings between Cuban executives and businessmen and potential foreign investors.
“This will be a great place to share ideas and exchanging on present and future challenges in attracting foreign capital. It guarantees interesting and fruitful work sessions during such a visit to Cuba,” khan said.
