His sister, Wanda Benjamin who described her brother as a jovial person said she was told that her brother and another man had an argument and he left with the intention to visit his nephew but never reached his destination.
She said her brother was an electrician and a former GPL employee who worked at the Neighbourhood Democratic Council. Ms. Benjamin said she last saw her brother on Wednesday.
When asked if her brother had any issues with anyone she said “I sell next to the roadside with my stall, along with others, because of the road construction, he was directed to by the NDC to move all stallholders and people were annoyed with him.”
She explained that “they said that he got his sisi selling right there and he ain’t moving she, but he did tell me to move, so I decided to build something new and put wheels on it so it can be mobile and no one would have to tell me anything.”
Further, Ms. Benjamin said her brother would call her cell phone whenever he sees her stall close to the roadside. “I don’t know of any other problems he had,” she said.
