THE trio who were accused of the February 4, 2018 murder of the America Street money changer, Shawn Nurse, called ‘Fabulous’, continued at the Providence Magistrate’s Court on Monday before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman
Kerwin Dos Santos and George Hope, both 24 years old, of Freeman Street, La Penitence and Kacey Heyliger, 25, of Shell Road Kitty, were initially charged separately but those were withdrawn and a joint charge instituted.
At Monday’s hearing, two witnesses testified about their recollection of what happened on that fateful day.

The witnesses were cross-examined by Attorney at law, Ms. Collette Marks, who is representing the number one accused Kerwin De Santos, and Police Prosecutor, Shellon Daniels.

The Court also heard from Dr. Boodram.
The matter was adjourned to August 8.
On February 4, 2018, Shawn Nurse called ‘Fabulous’ was killed while plying his trade on America Street in Georgetown.
“Fabulous”, who hailed from Apartment #33 Shopping Plaza, South Ruimveldt, was shot during a struggle with a lone gunman who attempted to relieve him of a large sum of local and foreign currency.
Fabulous was also relieved of several pieces of jewellery.
