A 55-year-old vagrant was on Friday remanded to prison by Senior Magistrate, Leron Daly, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, for stealing a bicycle.

Kevin Abrams pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on May 16, 2019, at Charlotte Street, Georgetown, he stole a bicycle valued $17,000, property of Henry Harry.

Police Prosecutor, Christopher Morris, objected to Abrams being released on bail on the grounds that the defendant has no fixed place of abode.

Magistrate Daly remanded Abrams to prison until June 14, 2019.
