MOTHERS in Region Two are in for a treat this weekend as the Women of Substance group will be hosting their 2nd Annual Mothers Night Dinner and Dance at Anna Regina Co-op building on May 12.

According to President and Founder of the non-profit organization, Ciselyn Jonas, the dinner is one with a difference aiming at making mothers feel honour on their special day. She said mothers are important and should be given a special treat especially around Mother’s day. Last year she said they had a positive feedback and based on the support they opted to do the dinner again hence making it annual.

“The mothers came last year; they had a good time and they enjoyed. We want to do it again this year,” Jonas said.

The dinner is schedule to commence at 19h00.  The programme will feature live Karaoke, and singers will be backed by Vego Sound system.

The oldest and the youngest mother attending the dinner will be honoured. Mothers will be treated to a three-course meal. Tickets for the dinner cost $5,000 per couple.
