Timehri Panthers and Grove Hi-Tech U-20 teams have booked their spots in the semi-finals of the GFF/KFC U-20 Independence Knockout Cup (East Bank Football Association leg) yesterday at the GFF’s National Training Centre, Providence.

The Panthers, led by braces from Tyrone Burnette and Ishmael Pulsuram, had a commanding 6-0 win over Herstelling Raiders, while Grove Hi Tech simply waltzed into the semis after their opponents, Diamond Upsetters, failed to show up for their encounter.
Meanwhile, Diamond United came out on top of a 14-goal affair, defeating Samatta Point/Kaneville 10-4.

Diamond will now face Soesdyke Falcons today from 14:00hrs at the same venue. The match will determine another semi-finalist while the EBFA Senior League will kick off with an encounter between Grove Hi Tech and Kuru Kururu Warriors.

The EBFA Senior League is being sponsored by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and the official march past of the 11 contesting clubs will also take place.
