THE autopsy conducted on the remains of Micheal Chu, 48, called “Chuman” of Melville, Lower Pomeroon, Region Two, revealed that he died from multiple stab wounds. The autopsy was conducted on Tuesday by government pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh, at the Suddie Mortuary.
The suspect remains in custody and is expected to be charged shortly. Chu died on April 6 around 12:00 hours at Glen Nors, Lower Pomeroon River.
According to information, the suspect and the deceased were drinking when a heated argument started between the two. The suspect, who was armed with a knife, stabbed Chu several times. Chu was rushed to the Charity Hospital where he was treated and admitted. He was later transferred to the Suddie Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at around 17:58 hours.
