Dear Editor,
I HAVE applied for mortgage since January, 2019, and upon checking with the department at the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), I am being told that my application is still being processed and they will inform me when it is ready.

I have asked how long this process takes and, to my astonishment and utter dismay, the young lady informed me that the process does not have a time frame. It is time the staff in this department at GRA become efficient in their duties to the public.
